Ulcerative colitis, diarrhea and blood in stool
I would like to present my experience with consummation of the EM probiotic, introduced to me by a friend who has long been experimenting with various therapies and fasting.
I am 35 years old. For a long time, almost for 15 years, I have been diagnosed with a chronic disease of the colon: ulcerative colitis. The disease was dormant for many years and didn’t cause any problems but two years ago suddenly my condition worsened (diarrhea, cramps, mucus and blood in the stool). At first I tried to remedy those problems with different types of probiotics obtained from the pharmacy. However, apart from elimination of cramps and blood in the stool, there was no improvement. Searching for new options, I started with probiotic EM. Somehow I believed that the situation will improve in a short while. I started with a dose of 30 ml in the morning and 20 ml in the evening. After two weeks abdominal cramps completely disappeared, but diarrhea was still present. I then increased my dose by another 20 ml per day, which meant a total of 70 ml. I have been doing this for 5 months. Diarrhea is still present, but to a lesser extent – a few days a week it is not present at all. It should be noted that for many years I have been taking immunosuppressants (corticosteroids), which causes constant imbalance of the intestinal flora.
I think I will increase my daily dose to 1 dl a day because I believe that this might be the right quantity to cure my intestinal imbalance.
